1.) Can Gasko handle short production runs?
Yes.
2.) What are your lead times for steel rule and compound tools?
We can produce a steel rule die within three working days and a sharp edge tool in 10 days. A compound tool can be produced in 4 weeks to 10 weeks, depending on the part to be die cut.
3.) What tolerances can the various tools hold?
A steel rule tool generally can die cut parts while holding a tolerance of +/- .015". A compound tool can produce a die cut part with dimensions of +/- .003". Sharp edge tools, generally used to die cut diaphragm gaskets, can produce parts with die cut dimensions of +/- .008".
4.) Can Gasko provide sample material so I can produce a prototype in my lab?
Yes.
5.) Can Gasko provide sample parts for testing?
Yes, generally we can die cut you 3 to 5 pieces within three working days.
6.) Is the part I want capable of being die cut?
